Size
Plagron Cocos A&B is a highly concentrated, professional-grade mineral base nutrient (\(A+B\)) engineered exclusively for crops grown in coco coir substrates. This two-part liquid formulation provides complete, chelated, and highly bioavailable primary, secondary, and trace elements optimized for both the growth and flowering phases.
Coco coir naturally tends to chemically bind calcium and magnesium while releasing excess potassium. Plagron Cocos A&B resolves this issue by containing high levels of fully buffered calcium and magnesium, which prevents element lockouts, leaf deficiencies, and pH crashes. The 100% water-soluble mineral profile dissolves cleanly, making it perfect for run-to-waste systems, hand watering, and automated drip networks.

Metric Dilution Rates & Feeding Chart
Plagron Cocos A&B must always be used in equal parts (\(1:1\) ratio). Never mix the concentrated Cocos A and Cocos B liquids directly together in their raw state. Doing so causes an immediate chemical reaction that precipitates minerals, creating crystal fallout and a useless nutrient mix.
The maximum recommended dose is 4.0 mL per 1 Litre of water for each component:
Phase of Plant Cycle Cocos A Dosage per 1L Cocos B Dosage per 1L Combined Nutrient Strength (EC Guideline)
Early Vegetative Phase 2.0 mL / L 2.0 mL / L Low EC (\(\approx \) 1.2 – 1.4 mS/cm)
Peak Vegetative Phase 2.5 mL / L 2.5 mL / L Medium EC (\(\approx \) 1.4 – 1.6 mS/cm)
Early Flowering Phase 3.0 mL / L 3.0 mL / L High EC (\(\approx \) 1.6 – 1.9 mS/cm)
Peak Flowering Phase 3.5 mL / L 3.5 mL / L Maximum EC (\(\approx \) 1.9 – 2.2 mS/cm)
Heavy Feeding (Late Bloom) 4.0 mL / L 4.0 mL / L Peak Heavy Feeding (\(\approx \) 2.2 – 2.4 mS/cm)
Final Flush (Last 1-2 Weeks) 0.0 mL / L 0.0 mL / L Plain water / flushing solution

Best Use Practices & Application Steps
Exact Order of Operations (Mixing Method)
  1. Fill your fresh water tank with clean water.
  2. Shake both Cocos A and Cocos B bottles vigorously to distribute minerals evenly.
  3. Calculate your dosage, then add the Cocos A concentrate first. Stir the water thoroughly for 1 minute.
  4. Add the Cocos B concentrate next in the exact same volume. Stir vigorously for another minute.
  5. Mix in any extra additives or bloom enhancers (such as Plagron Power Buds, Sugar Royal, or Green Sensation).
  6. Check the final pH with a calibrated digital meter. Adjust the solution to hit 5.5 to 5.8 for optimal coco coir nutrient absorption.
2. Managing Runway Volume (Run-to-Waste)
Because coco coir holds onto mineral salts as water evaporates, you should apply enough water to achieve a 10% to 20% runoff volume at every watering event. This continuous runoff flushes away old, concentrated salts, keeping the root-zone EC stable and fresh.
3. Combining with Boosters
During the peak flowering phase, combine Cocos A&B with Plagron Green Sensation. Add Green Sensation to the water first (at 1 mL/L), and then add your Cocos A&B in equal parts until you hit your target feeding EC.
