Premium Cactus & Succulent Repotting Mix: Ultra-Draining Desert BlendGive your drought-loving plants the precise environment they need to thrive. Our Premium Cactus & Succulent Repotting Mix mimics the gritty, low-nutrient, and fast-draining soils of native desert habitats.Standard potting soils hold onto water too long. This suffocates vulnerable desert root systems and causes fatal root rot. Our professionally formulated blend ensures water moves through the pot quickly. It leaves behind just enough moisture to hydrate the plant while keeping the roots perfectly aerated.
Key Features
- Advanced Drainage Formula: Heavy grit content allows excess water to escape immediately.
- Prevents Root Rot: High porosity ensures air circulates around roots, eliminating waterlogging.
- Root-Boosting Aeration: Lightweight ingredients prevent the soil from compacting over time.

Step-by-Step Repotting GuideTo keep your succulents vibrant and healthy, follow these simple steps during your next repotting session:1. Choose the Right Container
- Always use a pot with at least one drainage hole.
- Terracotta or unglazed clay pots are best because they allow moisture to evaporate through the walls.
2. Prepare the Plant
- Gently remove your cactus or succulent from its old container.
- Carefully brush away loose, old soil from the root ball.
- Inspect the roots; trim away any black, mushy, or dead roots with sterile shears.
3. Settle Into the New Home
- Place a small layer of the Repotting Mix at the bottom of the new pot.
- Center your plant and fill the remaining space around the sides with the mix.
- Press down gently to secure the plant, leaving about 1–2 cm of space at the top of the pot.
4. Hold the Water
- Do not water immediately.
- Wait 3 to 7 days before watering for the first time. This gives any roots damaged during the move time to heal and callous over, preventing infection.
